What i do i actually have the serial cable female female and i use an usb adapter but it works all the same.

Im plugging the cable into the serial port on the front of the unit theres only 1 spot to put it into.

This cisco linksys switch has a db 9 male console port and i dug out a female to female db9 serial cable but i have no idea whether it s a null modem cable or not and it doesn t seem to work using the official serial port settings for the srw2024p.
